The outershell of this vest is flame resistant, 11.5 oz duck 88% cotton/12% nylon. The insulation is flame resistant, 12 oz. two layer Modacrylic. The vest has a concealed snap fron closure and a NOMEX rib knot collar. There are two large insert slash welted pockets and one inside chest pocket. There is no exposed metal-inside or out.
