The outershell of this jacket is flame resistant, 7 oz. twill 88% cotton/12% nylon water repellent material. It is insulated with flame resistant, 12 oz. two layer quilted Modacrylic. The parka has a two way separating, heavy duty NOMEX, taped brass zipper, covered with an insulated storm flap and concealed snap closure. It has an insulated stand up collar and knit NOMEX storm cuffs with hook and loop supression tabs. There are three large patch pockets with concealed snaps (lower pockets with handwarmers, one inside chest pocket and one sleeve pocket. It also has a deep pleated action back, elastic inserts at waist and an internal snow belt.
