The outershell of this jacket is flame resistant, 5.3 oz. NOMEX IIIA water repellent material. It is insulated with flame resistant, 14.2 oz. quilted NOMEX with wind and moisture barrier. The parka has a two way separating, extra heavy duty NOMEX, taped brass zipper, covered with an insulated storm flap and hook and loop secured. It has an insulated stand up collar and knit NOMEX storm cuffs within hemmed sleeve ends with hook and loop supression tabs. There are three large patch pockets with hook and loop secured (lower pockets with handwarmers, one inside chest pocket and one sleeve pocket. It also has a deep pleated action back, elastic inserts at waist across back and an internal snow belt. There are inside zipper guards on all zippers.
